Lukwings Travels and Tours Ltd was officially incorporated on 29th March 2017 by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under the Companies and Allied Matters Act 1990. But the seeds were planted eight years earlier — when our founder walked into the aviation industry in 2009 with a single goal: to master it completely.
Armed with an Advanced Diploma in Aviation & Maritime Training (Upper Credit) from Standard Aviation & Maritime Training Institute, and later proficiency certifications in both Amadeus PNR/Fare (December 2012) and Sabre Basic CRS (May 2013), every credential was earned deliberately — not collected, but lived.
Today, Lukwings Travels is a SCUML-registered, ITPN-certified agency serving clients across Nigeria and the diaspora. We understand the real pressures Nigerian travelers face — complex embassy requirements, tight visa timelines, the anxiety of getting everything exactly right. That's why we built an agency that engineers certainty, not approximations.
Mr. Lawal B. Lukman began his aviation career with a clear mission: to acquire the deepest possible expertise before serving others. Over 17 years, he earned dual GDS certifications, built a fully registered and regulated agency, became a full member of the Institute for Tourism Professionals of Nigeria (ITPN), and was recognised among Nigeria's 100 Most Distinguished CEOs — all without shortcuts.
